RENCONTRES TERRA NOSTRA : ICI BRAZZA – CHRONIQUE D'UN TERRAIN VAGUE

Screening of the film “Ici Brazza – chronique d’un terrain vague” by Antoine Boutet (2026, 86 mins), on Saturday 17 October at 9.00 pm, in the presence of the filmmaker.

Terra Nostra has previously screened a film by Antoine Boutet: *Le plein pays*. He returns with another exceptional film. *Ici Brazza* chronicles the transformation of a 53-hectare wasteland into a vast ‘eco-responsible’ property development – a sort of social housing scheme for the middle class. And Antoine Boutet filmed this transformation up close, over several years, leaving nothing to chance. He was there for every significant event. And it’s riveting. No commentary, no explanations, just an unwavering confidence in his images and his vision. A soundtrack that constantly provides a counterpoint. Different visual styles punctuate the progress of the work, inventive special effects shift our perception, and an unexpected sense of humour offers a critical wink. This film is a must-see, full stop.
