RENCONTRES TERRA NOSTRA : DORMIR À NOAILLES DEPUIS

Join us on 16–17–18 October in Sainte Croix Vallée Française for the next Terra Nostra 2026 documentary film festival.

Screening of the film “Dormir à Noailles depuis” by Cherici Tuia (2026, 43 mins), on Sunday 18 October at 2.30 pm, in the presence of the filmmaker.

The collapse of two blocks of flats in Marseille in 2018 continues to raise questions as we look back on the responses it prompted. An animated film interwoven with testimonies from residents and their loved ones, Cherici Tuia’s work—through breathtaking visual innovation—draws us into the heart of this squalid world and its aftermath. Fears, insomnia, nightmares, but also control, surveillance, contempt and segregation. Nothing is left out in getting to the root of this catastrophe. And the technical skill of the animation finds just the right gestures to immerse us in the active rejection of this vile world. A model of success.
