In Maison des Vautours, come discover and observe the beautiful vultures and their fabulous story!
Located in the heart of Gorges de la Jonte in Lozère, we have a three-story building adjacent to the cliff. There, you will find:
– A recently renovated museum where you can learn more about these birds – their physiognomy, their physiology, the way they are perceived in the world as well as the story of the disappearance and the journey for their reintroduction.
– An observation spot with spyglasses to admire the vultures in their natural habitat, in complete liberty.
– A movie room where you can watch the video we made thanks to our cameras in the cliffs.
– An access to a unique panoramic view onto Gorges de la Jonte
