The European buffalo is present in the wild only in Northern Europe, but it was reintroduced in Margeride. In the reserve, it lives in half liberty on over 200 hectares of land. In Sainte-Eulalie, the visitor can take the tour in a horse-led carriage or in a sledge in the winter.
The guided tour allows you to meet in a park the biggest mammal in Europe. a museum space tells you all about the history of the buffalo from prehistoric times up to nowadays.
