Description
Along the way, you will pass through the site of what was—between 1939 and 1942—first an administrative internment camp for foreigners deemed "undesirable" (from February to October 1939) and later an internment camp for women (until 1942). A memorial path leads to the rock carved by a prisoner during his internment. On the return leg, you will walk through the Rieucros valley and then descend to the Faubourg Montbel car park via the south-facing slope of Mende.
