Description

This route takes you to the Causse d'Auge. As you climb, turn around to enjoy the panoramic view of Mende—with its historic center and Gothic cathedral—and the northern slope of Mont Mimat. Once on the limestone plateau, take a moment to observe the local flora (including orchids). On the return leg, the route leads you through the Mende State Forest, featuring extensive stands of Austrian black pine.
