Description
This loop takes you to one of the highest points of the Causse de Mende: Mont-Mimat (1,070 m). You will pass the Saint-Privat hermitage and chapel along the Stations of the Cross path. Tradition holds that the cave located here is where Privat, a Christian evangelist, was martyred by the Alamanni. You will also enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the town of Mende, the Lot Valley, and the Margeride region stretching to the north of Mende.
