Château d’Ayres (Ayres castle) used to be a fortified monastery through the 12th century; it then became the estate of the noble Nogaret family. For the past 50 years, Château d’Ayres has been a renowned hotel and restaurant with gourmet cuisine that has hosted Queen Blanche of Castile and Charles de Gaulle. We have a big park, a swimming-pool, a tennis court and an indoors swimming-pool.
