LE MOIS DU DOC : JE VOUS SALUE SALOPE : LA MISOGYNIE AU TEMPS DU NUMÉRIQUE

2022 – 80 mins – Sphere Films International – Canada (Quebec) / Original version with French subtitles
‘Hello, Bitch: Misogyny in the Digital Age’ plunges us into the misogynistic vortex of the internet and documents the hatred directed at women. We follow four women across two continents: Laura Boldrini, former President of the Italian Parliament; Kiah Morris, former US Democratic Congresswoman; Marion Séclin, a French actress and YouTuber; and Donna Zuckerberg, an expert on cyberviolence against women and sister of Facebook’s founder. This film brings home the raw, unbridled hatred whose aim is, at least, clear: to silence those who shine. Some will fall victim to the cruel and all-encompassing blade of the click, whilst others, proud warriors, will stand their ground and refuse to be silenced.
