Two little girls run off from a picnic. They stop in front of a little patch of life: cowpat. Insects are swarming all over it. They wonder about the holes in some of the cowpats. Their investigation leads them to discover the dung beetle. From egg to adult, we follow its transformations. From the dung sculptor to games played with dung, we discover the fascination that dung holds for people. However, many farmers administer a worming treatment to their herds which ends up intact in the dung, killing the insects. Others are developing alternative methods. Three farmers share their experiences.
