SENTIER DE L'ESPINAS - VENTALON EN CEVENNES

Very nice loop starting from Espinas that you can explore. Place of Protestant assembly in the past, center of the dry stone and bistro / relay nowadays. You can also take advantage and take the discovery trail of the chestnut grove below and enrich yourself with information panels.
The loop descends into the woods on the first part before climbing up a small road towards the Col de Banette. Then, we follow the ridge and the panoramas on the eastern part of Mont Lozère, on Vialas, the cliff of Trenze and on the Cévennes valleys are sumptuous. Orientation tables above Espinas on the ridge very well placed.
