OLD COLLET TRAIL - LE COLLET-DE-DEZE

Stroll in the historic heart of Collet-de-Dèze, between old Cevennes houses, until the temple built in 1646 and at the top of the "Puech de la Sabaterie". Located on a strategic axis of communication between the Cevennes and the coast, the village of Collet-de-Dèze has always been marked by the many floods, called episodes Cévenols. The village reveals the history and memory of the Camisards' war. The path leads to the center of the old town by the old royal road which was then the only road between Chamborigaud and Saint-Germain-de-Calberte.
