In the 1970s, several species of vultures were reintroduced into the Jonte gorges and are protected by the Cévennes National Park.
The House of Vultures, formerly called Belvedere of Vultures, is entirely dedicated to them.
These raptors are visible from the observation deck but also through three mobile cameras installed on a nest, a perch and a feeding area.
Visitors can observe griffon vultures, monk, Egyptian vulture and the bearded vulture.
The visits are commented, the museum of more than 1000m3 allows to learn more about the vulture, its reintroduction, its environment and its history in Lozère.
