FORGE DU TERRIER

I am a blacksmith, a blade-smith and a toolmaker. In my wood coal forge, I make knives and tools for both individual customers and professionals, using solid steel that is hot-formed.
On weekdays throughout the year, you can come have a look at my workshop (depending on my availability – sometimes I am not home or I cannot stop my work) by sending an email first (there is no mobile phone signal in Jontanels).
In the summer I give tours every Thursday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm (no prior booking required). This tours includes an animation (where I forge metal and explain my work), a commented tour of the workshop where I explain the forging process, and then an exhibition of knives and tools, with a possibility for directly buying them. Forging is a loud process, be careful if your ears are sensitive!
From May to September, on Wednesday mornings, I sell my creations and offer to sharpen tools and knives on Meyrueis village market.
