FROMAGERIE DE HYELZAS LE FEDOU

Our Fromagerie (dairy) is located on the Causse Méjean, in Lozère, registered as UNESCO World Heritage, we are in the small village of Hyelzas, of 60 inhabitants, in constant renewal.

In Hyelzas we make sheep’s-milk cheese. Our range of 20 traditional cheeses goes from half-hard cheese to soft rind cheese (Meule, Tommes, Soureliettes, Pérail, Brique, Fédou, Cardabelle, Titounet, Lactique, Brousse…).

You will be able to savour them on site with other local products. We offer, this year, small tasting board to take away or to eat on site in our nice table area outside. Ideal for your picnic.

Located above the Gorges de la Jonte, you will be able to take a break anytime during the day (until 7 PM during July and August). By reservation, we also offer activities, don’t hesitate to inquire. We are eagerly waiting for you.
