STAY UPRIGHT

Staying Vertical is a French film directed by Alain Guiraudie, released on August 24, 2016. The film tells the story of Léo, a young man searching for a wolf on the vast limestone plateau of Lozère, when he meets a shepherdess, Marie. Following the birth of their child, amidst periods of running away and postpartum depression, Léo and Marie experience a profound social decline that leads Léo back to the Lozère plateau and to the wolf.
