Located in the heart of the remarkable Cham des Bondons site, Puech d’Allègre and Puech de Mariette are two hills of black marl that have resisted erosion and now overlook the Tarn Valley.

Legend has it that Gargantua created these two Puechs by shaking out his clogs filled with the calcareous soil of the Causses, thus fertilizing small islands of granitic land.
