PANORAMA FROM THE SUBLIME POINT

The listed Point Sublime site is at an altitude of 870m and is one of the quietest places in the Gorges du Tarn. Point Sublime is a belvedere on the Causse de Sauveterre with incredible views of the impressive ochre cliffs and the Tarn’s emerald waters.
Over 400m below, the Tarn makes a right angle and this ‘whim’ means the visitor can zigzag east to south through the gorges. The steep corniches opposite the Causse Méjean make the area what it is and adds the final touch to this visual masterpiece worthy of the greatest artists.
