Mont Aigoual Observatory

Located in the Cévennes National Park, the Mont Aigoual Observatory is a landmark of scientific history. It is on this historic site—dedicated to scientific research since its creation—that Le Climatographe has been established.

The goal of this space is to help everyone understand the causes, consequences, and actions needed to limit climate change and its impacts. It offers a scientific, interactive, playful, and emotionally engaging experience, suitable for all ages.

Discover a journey through 10 themed areas exploring climate issues, their changes, and the role of human activity. You’ll also learn about possible solutions to implement—and can take part in the Fresque de la Renaissance Écologique (the Mural of Ecological Renaissance).
