MARTINET WATERFALL

The Martinet waterfall is a favourite spot for holidaymakers and is located in the commune of Saint-Etienne-Vallée-Française on the Mialet river, between the Lozère and Gard Cévennes.

Its crystal-clear waters of excellent quality, its natural pools and its preserved setting are much appreciated by bathers and hikers.

Indeed, the waterfall will allow you to refresh yourself on the Auriol trail (trail cards available at the Saint-Etienne-V-F tourist office), before reaching the village centre.

Access is on foot from the car park of the Martinet restaurant, then follow the canal to the waterfall (10 min).
Beware of the steep path.
Presence of protected wildlife (beavers).
