Col de la Croix de Berthel

The Col de la Croix de Berthel culminates at an altitude of 1,087 metres on the southern slopes of the Bougès.

Geographical curiosity, the pass is located on the watershed between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.

The pass is at the intersection of the Route des Crêtes (D35), which offers magnificent views of the Cévennes, and the D998, which links Le Pont-de-Montvert to Vialas.
