THE RHYTHM OF THE TARN GORGES

Consistent in its beauty throughout and varied in its elevation changes, this panoramic route combines exceptional views from the Causse Méjean plateau with a journey through authentic villages in the gorges. The views from the heights of the Causse Méjean, dotted with breathtaking cliffs, are truly magical. The second part of the route is much calmer and more peaceful, allowing us to take our time exploring the beauty of the emerald Tarn River and the villages that dot its banks.

A full day is needed to complete the entire route. Choose a relatively high viewpoint if you want to fully enjoy the sunrise or sunset. The panoramic views from Roc des Hourtous and Saint Chély du Tarn, as well as from Pas de Souci, require an entrance fee (less than one euro).
