SAINT-CHELY-DU-TARN – LA MALENE

Come and discover the Tarn Gorges starting from Saint-Chély-du-Tarn, along a 9-kilometer route. [ZOOM: Saint-Chély-du-Tarn] Located in the heart of the Tarn Gorges, between Saint-Enimie and La Malène, Saint-Chély-du-Tarn is a hamlet nestled at the foot of the Méjean cliffs, on the left bank of the Tarn River. Access is via a small tunnel and then a single-arch bridge spanning the Tarn. This leads to the enchanting village: it overlooks the emerald-hued river, while two waterfalls cascade from among the houses and plunge into the river near the popular beach.
