Explore Pradelles, a medieval and Renaissance village listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France." Next, visit Lake Issarlès, a volcanic lake (swimming is possible). Mont Mézenc, of volcanic origin, rises to 1754 meters. Continue in the same area to Sainte-Eulalie/Mont-Gerbier-de-Jonc, an ancient volcano and the source of the Loire River. Reach the summit to admire the Ray Pic waterfall. You will then arrive in Saint-Cirgues-en-Montagne, near the village, where you can discover the former Mazan Abbey.
