Description

Start in Laubert, a typical Margeride village that boasts a Nordic ski area (1200-1480m) nestled in the woods on the Plateau du Roy. Continue towards Bagnols-les-Bains, home to a spa town. Proceed to La Bastide-Puy-Laurent, a stopover village on the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail. This village is located near the source of the Allier River on the old Regordane Way. An abbey (Notre-Dame-des-Neiges) is nearby. Next is Cheylard-l'Évêque, another stopover village on the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail, which also features a high point at 1500m, Le Moure de la Gardille. The journey concludes with a visit to the magnificent Château de Luc.
