FROM MOULINET LAKE TO THE GÉVAUDAN WOLVES PARK

This route invites you to explore the area around Marvejols, a royal town in the Gévaudan region, situated at the crossroads of the Aubrac, Margeride, and Lot Valley plateaus. Starting your journey by car, take the winding but magnificent road of the Vallée de l'Enfer (Valley of Hell). This road meanders between rocky outcrops and beech and Scots pine forests before arriving at the village of Saint-Léger-de-Peyre. Before discovering the famous Gévaudan Wolf Park, we recommend a stop at Lac du Moulinet (Moulinet Lake), where a marked trail allows you to stroll around the lake.
