Description

Today Departmental road 9, between Florac and Saint-Jean-du-Gard, Corniche Cevennes is the old royal road from Nimes to Saint-Flour. It is known for its many panoramas that it offers to the sight of the holiday makers on the Cevennes valleys. It was built by order of the king, to be able to watch any movement of troops during the camisards war.
