Description

This route allows you to be lulled by the calm waters and stunning landscapes of Lake Charpal. At the Maison de la Découverte (Discovery Center) on the trail of the Aurochs, discover a herd of aurochs, a primitive breed of cattle that disappeared at the end of the 17th century. This bovine has been "reconstituted" from crossbred hardy breeds and thrives perfectly in the Margeride region.
