AUBRAC LAKES ROUTE

From the Bonnecombe Pass at 1340m to the village of Nasbinals along the D52 lies the Route des Lacs (Lakes Route). Also known as the "Route d'Argent" (Silver Route), this route takes you along one of the most beautiful roads in Lozère for 17 km, discovering four lakes situated at altitudes of over 1000m: Lac de Born, Lac de Saint-Andéol, Lac de Souverols, and Lac des Salhiens. The circuit will lead you to the Cascade du Déroc waterfall, where a 30m cascade conceals a cave formed of basalt prisms.

Access to Lac de Bonnecombe: From Marvejols, take the road towards Chirac-Le Monastier. In Le Monastier, turn right onto the Route de l'Aubrac (D56). At the Col du Trébatut, turn right onto the D52 towards Bonnecombe. (22km 30min).
