In a hamlet in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site designated as a "cultural landscape of Mediterranean agropastoralism," Mathieu and Diane, sheep, donkey, and horse breeders, will advise you on walks. Maps and books are available. The guesthouse offers meals prepared with produce from the farm and garden: lamb, salads, chestnuts, and more. Meals provide an opportunity to chat about rural life in the Mediterranean mountains. The traditional schist stone building offers spacious and comfortable rooms (each with its own bathroom and toilet). The layout of the rooms allows access to shaded terraces under the grapevines and the large linden tree, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and have breakfast.
