THE GUESTS OF THE CHESTNUT TREE

Bed and breakfasts

in VENTALON-EN-CEVENNES

Nestled in a chestnut grove, Les Hôtes du Châtaignier bed and breakfast welcomes you to a vibrant, authentic, and profoundly peaceful setting. Surrounded by the Cévennes countryside, the house offers a rare tranquility, punctuated by the murmur of the stream below and the sounds of the forest. With their warm and comfortable atmosphere, its five guest rooms guarantee a relaxing stay. The communal dining area invites you to share meals around a large farmhouse table in a friendly and unpretentious setting. For relaxation, enjoy the outdoor swimming pool from May to September (8 am–9 pm), the outdoor jacuzzi accessible to those over 12 years old from May to October (9 am–8 pm), the pétanque court, and access to the river. Hiking trails (PR) start directly from the hamlet, allowing you to stay for several days without a car. We also welcome Gentiâne's hiking donkeys. Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out is before 11 am.
