GITE LES OSIERS: THE DOVECOTE

A typical house of the Gorges du Tarn, this holiday cottage has been restored whilst retaining the region’s traditional character. You’ll have the pleasure of entering via a spiral staircase overlooked by an old dovecote. Situated in Saint Chély du Tarn, one of the most beautiful villages in the Gorges du Tarn, featuring a multi-arched bridge, a Romanesque church, a chapel and evening illuminations. The beach and the river are about a 150-metre walk away, where a vast stretch of water awaits you. In the village, there is a restaurant and a pizzeria. On site, you can enjoy fishing, canoeing and kayaking, as well as walking or mountain biking. From the gîte, you can follow a lovely little path on foot or by mountain bike along the left bank of the Tarn, which has become part of the GR 736 trail!
