In the heart of the Tarn Gorges, La Malène is a village designated as a "Petite Cité de Caractère" (Small Town of Character). The Gîte du Barry is located in the heart of the old village. It is accessed via a charming pedestrian street leading uphill, then by an external staircase. The panoramic view from the terrace allows you to admire the entire village and the Tarn Gorges canyon. From the village, depending on the season, you can enjoy swimming, boat trips with the Tarn Gorges boatmen, canoeing or paddleboarding, escape games, and numerous hiking trails. Within a 25 km radius, you will find attractions (Aven Armand cave, traditional Causses farm, Borie windmill) or more adventurous activities (gliding, bungee jumping, rock climbing).
