VISIT TO "THE SILVERWOOD MINE"

Discover a magical, astonishing, and captivating site! In a wild valley in the Cévennes mountains, Mariette invites you to explore an old stone factory. Here, 150 years ago, the roar of the machines was deafening. Today, the river murmurs to the sound of birdsong, and the guided tour opens the doors to the former foundry, normally closed to the public except for guided tours. You will discover how rock was transformed into silver ingots and search for traces of the factory workers. Suitable for all ages from 6 years old (children under 6 are welcome, under the attentive supervision of their parents). Not wheelchair accessible. Practical information: Please wear sneakers or hiking shoes. Reservations required, limited group sizes.
