STAGE D'INITIATION AU TRAVAIL DU CUIR

I am offering an introductory course to help you discover leather and learn how to work with it.
This course is not simply a holiday pastime, but is aimed specifically at those keen to discover and practise an activity that is easy to get started with and a source of great creative enjoyment.
You’ll take home the items you’ve made.
Small-group course, maximum 3 people

Programme
Day 1: a day of general introduction and practical sewing exercises.
Morning: an introduction to leather as a material and the tools used to work with it
Afternoon: practical exercises in using the tools, cutting techniques and different types of stitching
Day 2: This day will be entirely devoted to making a belt. You’ll have the opportunity to design it, choose the leather, work with it, dye it if you wish, select the buckle and carry out all the finishing touches.
Day 3: A day devoted to making a clutch bag, cases, a small bag, a tobacco pouch, etc., using the materials available. You will be required to design your project and carry it out from start to finish.
