STAGE DE VANNERIE : FABRICATION D'UNE PANIÈRE EN LATTES DE CHÂTAIGNIERS

Charles Courtieu and Eric BONICEL will kick off the season of workshops and courses with a one-day workshop: ‘Making a basket from chestnut slats’.
Over the course of the day, you’ll make a basket from chestnut slats, woven using a simple technique and finished with a sewn rim.
Enjoy the pleasure of weaving with chestnut without the hassle of preparing the material.
Charles and Eric will show you the different ways to use and work with chestnut wood in basketry.
You won’t need to use much muscle, as all the materials will already be prepared… leaving you to simply enjoy the pleasure of weaving! The workshop will take place at the school, 3 Rue Basse, Mende.
