DOCUMENTARY AND DEBATE EVENING: ‘Mauvaises Filles’ by Emérance Dubas
Every two months on a Sunday evening, La Loco-Motive 48 hosts a documentary and debate evening at the La Forge cinema-theatre. An opportunity to explore and discuss thought-provoking topics.

The documentaries tackle current, sometimes controversial issues that encourage us to reflect and take a critical look at the world around us. Thanks to the participation of committed guests and partners such as Secours Populaire and the Confédération Paysanne, these debates offer insightful perspectives and concrete courses of action.

For October, La Loco presents the documentary:

Mauvaises Filles – Directed by Emérance Dubas

Synopsis: Defiant, rebellious, misunderstood or simply unloved. Like so many other women in France, Édith, Michèle, Éveline and Fabienne were sent to a reformatory as teenagers. Today, driven by an incredible zest for life, each tells her story and reveals the harrowing fate reserved for these ‘bad girls’ right up until the late 1970s.

From 5.00 pm: book signing with Fabienne Bichet, author of *Moi, Fabienne B., mauvaise fille* and the documentary’s main subject. With Pauline Roux from the bookshop ‘Qui relie’ in attendance.
