Helsinki. Two lives that cross paths. Wikhström, in his fifties, decides to turn his life around by leaving his alcoholic wife and his job as a sales representative to open a restaurant. Khaled, meanwhile, is a young Syrian refugee who has ended up in the capital by chance. His asylum application is rejected, but he decides to stay anyway. One evening, Wikhström finds him in the courtyard of his restaurant. Moved by the young man, he decides to take him under his wing.
