LA REINE VS BLANCHE : FÊTE DE LA SCIENCE

The Saturday 03 October at 15 a.m00

  • Show

An interactive storytelling session based on a reimagined version of Snow White, inspired by the 2026 Science Festival with its theme ‘Savvy and Spirited Flavours’.
Meet at the La Canourgue Care Home at 3 pm.

The story of Snow White as you’ve never seen it before: a Queen who lives to the rhythm of a ukulele, a young princess trying her hand at ribbon dancing and combat sports, and seven dwarfs training for the Olympic Games in an unspoilt natural setting…
The musician and storyteller Clara Madec delights us by bringing this tale to life with humour and a modern twist, whilst raising questions about everyone’s place in a world that is both wild and civilised.
To conclude, Jean Richepin’s poem ‘La plainte du bois’ (The Lament of the Wood) reflects on the difficulty and beauty of the changing states of living things.

Free admission.
