Saturday 7 November: the first ever Gorges de la Jonte Trail Run!
Set amongst limestone plateaus and cliffs, this is a wild and challenging adventure. The Gorges de la Jonte Trail Run was born out of a firm belief: to organise a sporting event whilst respecting the local environment that hosts us.

Three race formats to suit all levels:
• 12 km – 480D+ | The Meyrueis Balconies (run and hike)

A route that will allow you to explore the heights of Meyrueis and the corniches of the Causses Méjean.
The 12 km route is an ideal introduction to the world of the Gorges de la Jonte Trail.

• 20 km – 900D+ | The Jonte loops

A route that takes you on two loops starting from Meyrueis. The first loop, shared with the 12 km route, during which you’ll discover the 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲. The second, more rugged loop, will take you all the waythe 𝗰𝗵𝗮̂𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗱𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗹𝘀.

• 42 km – 1,600m elevation gain | Crossing the Causses

A demanding, rugged and spectacular route, designed to offer a truly immersive experience at the heart of this region, including a passage through the heart of the Dargilan cave.
The must-do event for anyone wishing to experience the Trail des Gorges de la Jonte in its entirety.

The routes follow trails, paths and offer remarkable views of the area, providing an immersive experience in the heart of a preserved natural environment, amongst cliffs, causses and forests. An event accessible to all, in a friendly and authentic spirit, driven by the desire to minimise its environmental impact as much as possible.

Registration is now open, and there’s the opportunity to volunteer at the race. It all begins and ends in Meyrueis.
