An actress. Two love stories set a hundred years apart. That of Jeanne, who meets a certain ‘James’ on the internet – a romance that blurs the lines between reality and fantasy. And that of Marguerite, who, in 1907, meets Eugène on a beach. The First World War will turn Marguerite’s love life upside down, whilst other wars will do the same for Jeanne’s. A mystery links these two women. A memory stronger than consciousness.
