FEST’OC #5 – FESTIVAL OCCITAN EN GEVAUDAN

An Occitan festival!
Following four successful editions and a memorable Saint John’s Day bonfire, Fest’Oc has now become an unmissable event organised by the Trianon, with the participation and invaluable support of numerous local and regional partners.
Last year, nearly 200 people of all ages took part in the evening concert as well as the ‘Fénix’ street performance, created by the Fulgurée theatre company. The public turned out in force, both during the day for the sporting activities, the dictada, the folk dance performance and the jau de pistes… and in the evening to wander through the streets and take part in the summer solstice ritual, leaping over the bonfire in a spirit of joy and good humour!
Fest’Oc is a participatory, warm and multidisciplinary event that celebrates the Occitan language and culture, the foundation of a great folk festival.
