DEVENIR SOEUR

A story of friendship that dances, talks, laughs and stands the test of time.
20 years of dancing together, 20 years of companionship, 20 years of a deep friendship. That’s probably not quite the right word, though. There is no right word. Perhaps we prefer the term ‘chosen family’.
For 20 years we have been supporting one another and creating together – not always in the same place, but together all the same.

For 20 years we have made the efforts required by this adventure: each finding our own place to uphold a shared vision whilst leaving space for the other’s choices.
A demand, then, we place on ourselves, even before we place it on the other. A demand that only mutual support has made possible.
A human adventure that we find extraordinary and thrilling, and one that we now wish to share.
