THE PLANTED STONE – PINJO CHABRO
The "Pierre Plantée" (Standing Stone) is a moving testament to the presence of humans in the Late Neolithic period. This menhir is located between the villages of Mazeyrac and Chassagnes, at the edge of a field. On the surface of the imposing 2.65m high granite stone, engravings of superimposed Latin crosses indicate that the monument was Christianized.
