THE CAGNOT NECROPOLIS
An unusual site in the heart of nature, Cagnot contains 17 tombs carved directly into the granite. Some archaeologists have ventured to suggest Gallo-Roman burials, but nothing has yet been proven. This necropolis, noted as early as the 19th century and rediscovered in 1942, continues to fascinate. Several trails leading from Serverette will take you to this archaeological enigma.
