SOPHIE'S WOOD WORKSHOP
Located in Lozère, Sophie Faure, a passionate blacksmith and cutler, welcomes you to her workshop to share the ancestral art of knifemaking. Specializing in Damascus steel blades, she forges each knife by hand, blending tradition and innovation. Each creation is a unique piece that reveals a distinctive pattern, born from meticulous forging, bending, and hammering. During your visit, Sophie will explain the fascinating steps involved in creating a knife. An unforgettable experience for lovers of fine handcrafted pieces and those curious about the world of metal and wood. Since this winter, Sophie has earned the title of Master Craftswoman in artistic trades (the only woman in Lozère!) and will be delighted to share her passion and world with you.
