SCULPTURE OF THE BEAST OF GÉVAUDAN
Sculpture of the Beast of Gévaudan, a creation of cutler-blacksmith-sculptor Mickaël Moing. 1.20 meters high by 2 meters long. It is displayed at the entrance to the town of Langogne, at the intersection of Avenue Foch and Place Pierre Sémard, near the train station. It was in the Langogne region, in Gévaudan, that the Beast began its reign of terror in the early summer of 1764.
