The church of Saint-Léger-du-Malzieu is dedicated to Saint Bartholomew. According to sources, it already existed in the 12th century and was then dependent on La Chaise-Dieu. The building has partially retained its original plan despite 16th-century reconstructions, namely the vault, the south portal, the stair tower, and the bell gable. The church is entered through a south portal covered by a pointed arch. The church has a single-nave structure composed of three bays. The nave and the polygonal apse are vaulted with ribbed vaults. An external stair tower provides access to the bell gable, which closes off the building on the west side. The entrance door is decorated with cross moldings with prismatic bases dating from the 16th century. The two-tiered bell tower has four openings surmounted by a fifth. Only the first tier retains its 19th-century bells.
