The Temple du Rouve was restored to shelter a memorial site dedicated to Camisards.
‘THE FIRST CAMISARDS AND THE FREEDOM OF CONSCIENCE’
In order to revive the memory of one of the main pages of the past of our Hautes Cévennes region and remind a part of universal values of resistance against oppression in a cultural and humanist interest, we invite you in our memorial site.
A screening dedicated to the Guerre des Camisards and an exhibition of documents punctuate the visit.
Open on Fridays from 3 PM to 8 PM, from July 15th to September 15th.
