CHATEAU DU PARC NATIONAL DES CEVENNES

The Cévennes National Park, with 800 permanent inhabitants in its heart area, is a protected space among the 11 National Parks of France.
It guarantees the protection of natural environments and of the cultural heritage inherited from 5,000 years of human civilisations.
On 0.5% of the territory, it hosts 50% of the french biodiversity which it protects and knows through monitoring inventories, actions to reintroduce species (like the bearded vulture), monitoring and surveillance and respecting the specific regulations that apply in its heart area.
The Park accompanies sustainable development on the territory: supporting sustainable tourism, virtuous agriculture, sustainable forest management, accompanying communities.
It welcomes and raises awareness audiences through activites, interventions in schools, discovery tracks, publications, exhibitions and development of the territory.
